Hello!
To meet and exceed the most recent CDC guidelines, these are the extra steps we are taking to keep our community healthy:
Preventing the Spread
Prevention starts before you come in for your appointment. Two days prior, an appointment reminder text message will direct you to our website. Please take the opportunity to review the “Arrival Directions and Questionnaire” section. If you can reply “yes” to any of the questions, please call our office. When you arrive for your appointment, we will ask the same questions again, and will take your temperature as an additional safety precaution.
We do ask that everyone entering the office wear a face covering or mask, patients included. You can expect to see all of our clinical team members wearing a protective face shied and mask as well! We’ve also made hand sanitizer available throughout the office for use during your visit.
Accommodating for Social Distancing
Our team will be facilitating appointment scheduling to allow for better management of social distancing protocols. During the foreseeable future, we will be extending our hours to better serve you and while limiting the number of patients in the building at the same time:
Monday – Wednesday: 8am – 5pm
Thursday: 7am-4pm
Fridays (hygiene appts only): 7am – Noon
We request that patients come alone to their appointments, though they may be accompanied by one caregiver or family member if necessary.
New Sanitizing Technologies
We’ve introduced several technologies to our office to prevent the spreading of any germs to patients or team members. These include specialty UV lights integrated with our HVAC system and a mist of HOCl disinfectant, a proven and safe oxidizer, that we’re now using to sanitize rooms between patients, eliminating 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.
To learn more about the sanitation technologies we’ve implemented, please check out this blog post on our website!
When will hygiene appointments be rescheduled?
We understand how frustrating it has been for our patients to have “non-essential” dental care and procedures postponed. We ask for your patience as we work to re-appoint three months of postponed hygiene visits among existing appointments and reduced capacity due to sanitation practices.
Please note that we will be actively reaching out to reschedule patients who have had their normal appointments disrupted by the pandemic, and there is no need to call us to reschedule your appointment. If you see our number (616.949.0230) show up on your caller ID, please take the call, so we can get you scheduled!
For restorative dental procedures like fillings, crowns or emergency dental work, please contact us by phone or through the website at pidcgr.com.
We look forward to seeing you back in our office soon!
Sincerely,
The Partners in Dental Care Team
