Who would think that the dental office could be one of the safest places to visit during sickness season?

How to get that achy tooth looked at or schedule your regular dental cleaning while reducing risk during the pandemic.

5 Top-Notch Risk-Reduction Steps

Our Commitment to Your Safety

Partners In Dental Care is committed to going above and beyond to keep you healthy and safe this winter season. We’ve developed a risk-reduction program that relies on technology and best-practices to ensure you are protected during your time in our office.

1. State-of-the-Art Air Purification

Our REME HALO system, a UV light-based air purification system integrated into our central HVAC system, sanitizes and recycles air in our treatment rooms every 12 minutes. The system filters out 99% of bacteria, mold, pollen and airborne viruses.

2. Sanitizing Mist Treatments

All of our office’s rooms will be disinfected with a Hypochlorous Acid sanitizing mist treatment between every patient appointment. Highly effective, nontoxic and non-corrosive, this powerful and safe oxidizer kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses on-contact.

3. Peroxide Pretreatment Rinses

Preprocedural mouth rinses have been proven to significantly reduce microorganisms in the mouth, which can become airborne or spatter during some dental procedures, and help protect our staff and other patients from risk. Peroxide rinses, when swished for 1 minute, kill 99% of viruses and bacteria in the mouth.

4. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All of our staff, from the receptionist to your hygienist, wear protective face-covering, and some staff wear shields to protect their entire face as they work.

5. Prescreening Patients & Team Members

In addition to limiting the number of patients in the office, we also prescreen everyone who enters our office—doctors, patients and team members. Our process includes a questionnaire and touchless temperature screening to reduce risk from those with exposure to COVID-19 or symptoms.
